FICTIONAL TEACHING SCRIPT Topic: finding a useful place to study Interviewer and Student A are fictional roles. This is a written reference, not an audio transcript. Interviewer: When is it difficult to find a useful place to study? Student A: On Mondays, the library is often full. I spend about twenty minutes looking for a quiet seat before I start working. Interviewer: What do you do then? Student A: Our study group meets twice a week. We can talk through a difficult assignment, but the room is too noisy for individual reading. Interviewer: What would make planning easier? Student A: I would like to see which rooms are available two days before the meeting. I cannot always change my shift at work at short notice. Interviewer: What should stay the same? Student A: Keep a few rooms that anyone can use without booking. Sometimes I only need half an hour between classes.
